I absolutely love this book, so many women have been thru life struggles and are afraid to let the truth out, not knowing by sharing how God helped you make it out can open the doors for so much more! I can't wait for part 2.....
I have read both versions of this GREAT BOOK.Well just like the other version this one was even better who would have thought same book but some how different LOVE it Lovely work simply lovely.
Nicole Peter's is definitely God's leading lady, a lady that has triuphed against the odds of poverty,abuse and mental breakdown. Neverless, her faith in God remained strong; through it all. This is a true story; the average person,would not have survived this life, but she is living proof that, that things can turn around, when you think that there is no ending to a life of turmoil, day in and day out...God is surely able.
This book follows Nikki on the ups and downs throughout her life as she struggles with inner demons and outside factors that try to bring her down. Nikki has a strong personality, and she remains strong in the face of adversity. I liked the inclusion of the inner demons in this book - not just voices, but actual demons that Nikki sees that she fights off with prayer and self-conviction. That made it unique. I can honestly say I have never read anything like that before in urban fiction. And I also like the way the book is written - the characters have identifiable voices, the settings and dialogue are realistic. You can picture everything unfolding as you read.
If you're looking for a read with a strong female protagonist, this book's definitely for you!
